Introduction

Social media strategy marketing is a plan of action for using social media to achieve business goals. It should be tailored to your company's individual needs and objectives, and should be based on your business goals, target audience, and budget.

You'll also need to consider which social media platforms will work best for you.

An effective social media strategy marketing plan will help you:

  • Increase brand awareness

  • Generate leads and sales

  • Boost website traffic

  • Enhance customer engagement

  • Improve customer satisfaction

1. Why Social Media?

Most businesses today have some sort of social media presence, but many don't have a clear social media marketing strategy. A social media strategy marketing is essential to reach your target audiences and create a solid connection.

Here are a few reasons why social media is important for businesses:

  • Reach a larger audience: With over 2 billion active users on social media, businesses have the opportunity to reach a much wider audience than they would with traditional marketing methods.

  • Engage with your audience: Social media allows businesses to interact directly with their customers and followers. This interaction can help build relationships and trust.

  • Create brand awareness: Social media is a great way to increase brand awareness for your business.

  • Drive traffic to your website: A well crafted strategy can be used to drive traffic to your website or blog, which can ultimately lead to more sales or conversions.

2. Types of Social Media Marketing Strategies

There are three types of strategies: organic, paid, and earned.

  • Organic strategies are those you don’t have to pay for. This includes creating high-quality content, SEO, and building a strong social media following.

  • Paid strategies are those you pay for, such as Facebook ads or Twitter promoted tweets.

  • Earned strategies are those you earn through word-of-mouth or by providing valuable content. For example, if you write a blog post that goes viral, this is an earned strategy.

The best social media marketing strategy is a combination of all three.

3. Tools to Improve Your Social Media Strategy Marketing

As a business, you need to have a social media strategy marketing in place to ensure you are using these platforms effectively. Here are a few tools available that can help you improve your strategy and make the most of social media for your business.

4. Engagement Tactics to Consider

As you create your social media strategy marketing, there are a number of engagement tactics you can use to connect with your audience and promote your brand. Below are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Create interesting and shareable content. This is the foundation of any good social media strategy marketing. If you learn how to make your content more interesting you will be more likely to engage your audience and encourage them to share your content.

  • Be active on social media. In order to engage your audience, you need to be active on social media. This means posting regularly, responding to comments and questions, and overall being present on the platforms you use.

  • Use hashtags. Hashtags can be a great way to reach new people and get your content seen by more people. Use relevant hashtags in your posts and encourage others to use them when they share your content.

  • Run contests and giveaways. Contests and giveaways are always popular on social media. They are a great way to engage your audience and get them interacting with your brand. Just be sure to follow the rules of each platform.

Conclusion

There's a lot to consider when it comes to a social media strategy marketing, but if you take the time to develop a strategy, you can maximize your chances of success. Keep these tips in mind as you create your social media strategy marketing, and you'll be on your way to making the most of this powerful marketing tool.

Getting your website pages indexed on Google is very important if you want to rank on first page. Here are 5 helpful tips get your website indexed and improve your SERP rankings.

1. Connect Your Website to Google Search Console

When considering having your pages indexed on Google, connecting your website to Google Search Console to validate and secure your website domain would be a good start.

When you secure and validate your domain with Google, you build trust with Google algorithms from the start and will have the tools to submit pages to be indexed on Google.

Validating ownership of your domain property is as simple as dropping a snippet of code into the header section of your website. The code is provided by Google Search Console and is specific to your domain.

There are several ways to verify your domain and I suggest using as many as necessary.

Another great feature about Google Search Console is the ability to keep your site in order and to make sure your site pages are properly structured to be indexed in Google's search results.

With Google Search Console, you can measure performance, inspect URLs, check for coverage issues, and review data relevant to queries, website pages, devices used and search appearance.

Checking URLs for errors can allow you to make necessary changes to your website to improve performance and to please the search engine algorithms.

Many website builders and platforms allow you to connect to Google Search Console so you can conduct basic website performance analysis and get a better understanding of your website SEO and online presence.

2. Write Good Title Tags to Get Indexed on Google

Title tags seems to be one of the most overlooked mistakes we see when conducting our initial SEO analysis reports on a new client's website. These simple little mistakes can have certain consequences when you don't take the time to carefully plan each of your page's title tags.

A title tag is a piece of html code that tells search engines what the page is about and is part of the metadata search engines look at when indexing your website pages. The highlighted example below shows how title tags display in search results.

Title tags are also found in your browser tab of the page being visited.

The source code for a meta description would look like this:

<head>

<title>Example Title</title>

</head>

Google ranking indicators consider title tags as one of the most important factors for on-page SEO. Not optimizing your title tag for search engine results will certainly have a negative impact on your rankings.

And don't forget to include open graph tags to optimize your title tags for social media sharing on platforms like Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook.

The best way to create good SEO title tags is to research relevant keywords related to the product or service you offer on your website page and place those keywords within the title, preferably at the beginning of the title.

Make sure each page has its own unique title tag and never duplicate title tags on any pages. A good format to follow would look like this:

Unique Keyword Phrase | Name of Business | Location

Length of title tags is important to keep in mind. Google search engine allows up to 70 characters but you can stay between 50-60 for best results. Title tags that are too long or too short will actually have a negative impact on your SEO.

And, exclude stop words like 'to', 'it', 'the', and reduce titles down to keywords only. For example, The Digital Marketing Business could simply be Digital Marketing Business by removing the stop word 'the' out of the title tag.

3. Write Good Description Tags to Get Indexed on Google

Description tags also play an important role in SEO optimized websites. This too is a code of html placed in the header of your website and provides a maximum of 160 characters to describe what the page is about.

However, 140 to 160 characters is ideal for an effective description tag. The highlighted example below shows how description tags display in search results.

The source code for a meta description would look like this:

<head>

<meta name="description" content="This is an example of a

meta description. This will often show up in search results.">

</head>

Even though Google doesn't technically penalize you for not filling in the description tags, it does have an impact on the click thru rate of your website which in turn will have a negative impact on your rankings.

4. SEO Optimized Content Writing to Get Indexed on Google

SEO optimized content writing will definitely improve page indexing on Google and create a sense of relevancy when done correctly. The words you put on any page can make or break the page's ability to be indexed properly.

When done correctly, Google algorithms can easily decide the relevancy of the page and offer the page to users searching for those particular search terms.

Your web page should consist of no less than 300 words and have a reasonable amount of relevant keywords. Pages less than 300 words can have a negative impact on SEO.

Avoid stuffing keywords by keeping the keyword density to around 1-2%. This means, place your keywords in the body of the text about every 100 words to avoid being penalized by Google.

Additionally, writing content for SEO should be done in a way that seems natural to humans. Google algorithms can detect fluency patterns and irregularities in context. Pages should be written to sound like a human. Not written just to include keywords and phrases.

5. Optimize Alt Text for Images to Get Indexed on Google

One of the primary uses and purposes for alt text is to provide a clear description of the image for users who are unable to see them. Be descriptive but keep it short and concise. Use this opportunity to add keywords but careful not to stuff or you'll be in trouble with Google algorithms.

Having your images indexed on Google can help boost your website relevancy and rank your website in Google images, thus, giving you more organic reach.

Also, when visually impaired visitors come to your website, alt text attributes for images allows those people to use software to read the text embedded in the image.

Note: Google has a high preference for websites that take the time to properly add relevant alt text to their images.

Implementing these 5 ways to help you get indexed on Google will be simple quick ways to clean up your website page SEO and improve your overall website page friendliness to Google algorithms.
